Privacy policy

Project Strife Wiki is an unofficial, community-run fan wiki. It isn't affiliated with the makers of Project Strife. This page explains what we store, why, and what you can do about it. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking cookies.
Reading the wiki
You can read everything without an account. Like any website, our hosting providers (Vercel and Supabase) receive your IP address, browser details and the pages you request, and keep them in short-lived server logs for security and troubleshooting.
Signing in
You sign in with Discord or Google. We never see your password. From that provider we receive and store:
- your email address and account ID with that provider, used only to sign you in;
- your name and profile picture, used as your public display name and avatar.
Your email address is never shown on the site. Your display name and avatar are public. Google's sign-in button loads a script from Google on the sign-in page; Google's and Discord's own privacy policies cover what they do during sign-in.
What you contribute is public
The point of a wiki is that contributions are public and kept. These are visible to everyone, with your display name:
- pages you create or edit, and the full history of every revision, with edit summaries;
- talk-page comments, verification votes, and images you upload;
- your profile page: display name, avatar, bio, and your contributions and statistics.
New pages, edits and comments may also be announced in the community Discord server, with the page title and your display name.
Private to you
- your watchlist and notifications;
- reports you file about a page — these are visible to you and to wiki moderators only.
Moderator actions (page protection, moves, deletions, bans) are recorded in the public moderation log.
Cookies
We only use cookies needed to run the site: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived cookie that protects Google sign-in. No advertising or analytics cookies.
Where it's stored
Data is stored with Supabase (database, sign-in and image storage) and the site is served by Vercel. Their servers may be outside your country. We keep your account data for as long as your account exists.
Your choices
- Change your display name, avatar, bio and notification settings in Settings.
- To get a copy of your data or delete your account, contact the wiki administrators. Deleting your account removes your email, sign-in details, profile, talk-page comments, votes, reports, watchlist and notifications. To keep the wiki's history intact, page edits and uploads stay, credited to a "deleted user" placeholder instead of your name. If you want specific content removed as well, tell us which.
Children
The wiki isn't aimed at children. If you're under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), please don't create an account.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. See also our terms of service.
